Hotel and conference

BrainLit’s dynamic lighting system provides a comfortable and creative environment for conference participants. Today, the hotel and conference facilities provide meeting places where the focus is placed on both customer relations and company conferences.

In BrainLit’s light environments, conference participants feel sharp and fresh throughout the day. They maintain the required levels of energy to focus on tasks and provide the best possible results from all meetings.

The naturally recreated daylight is easily customized to daily activities by placing a display or a keypad whenever necessary. Throughout the day, conference participants are provided with light which automatically follows the diurnal rhythm. The control system allows for integration with AV-, heating and ventilation systems, providing an optimal overall experience of the facilities and generating satisfied customers.

A better experience

The Swedish meeting industry, including congresses, conferences, business meetings, and company events outside office hours, generates around 125 billion SEK per year (2013). Most conferences, meetings, and events take place during fall and winter, the darker seasons of the year, and so have a greater need for daylight.

That is also the time of year when we spend most of the day indoors; approximately 90% of the time, according to several studies. As a result, exposure to daylight is minimal. A good conference environment offers natural daylight indoors which provides participants with a comfortable and agreeable experience. Better, more worthwhile results during the conference are easier to achieve because of an overall increase in well-being.

Hotel and conference

The first hotel and conference facility to install our natural light environments and simultaneously integrate their AV-system into the light solution.

“The system is very flexible because you can switch between hosting a conference to having afternoon tea in cozy lighting, just at the touch of a button.”

– according to BrainLit’s CEO Peter K.Andersson in an interview with “Svenska Möten” (Swedish Meetings) on what our lighting environments mean for a good conference environment. Read article (in Swedish).

The city hotel

In this windowless kitchen, daylight is recreated indoors with “light-enclosures” that form like lanterns in the ceiling.

“The light is fantastic. It takes care of itself, so we don’t have to think about it anymore.”
